Community Hub and Cafe@45 nominated in SURF Awards

Ochiltree Community Hub has been nominated for a SURF award for the Hub project.

The Hub has been nominated in the category of Community Led Regeneration. SURF awards are an annual award that is organised in partnership with the Scottish Government.   • To recognise and reward best practice and innovation in community regeneration;
  • To promote and disseminate best practice across Scotland as means of sharing knowledge and experience, and thereby enhancing future policy and practice;
  • To highlight the role that regeneration projects have in improving the wellbeing of individuals and communities

The Hub has been nominated alongside two other fantastic projects

  • Barholm Centre (Dumfries and Galloway)
  • Strathard: People at the heart of regeneration (Aberfoyle)
