Ochiltree Hub Nominated in RICS awards

The Royal Institution for Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has shortlisted 35 of the country’s most impactful construction projects for its prestigious Social Impact Awards in Scotland. The awards recognise the built environment's positive and transformational contribution to society. Ochiltree Community  Hub are delighted to be shortlisted for the RICS Social impact Awards.

The projects will be judged and voted on by an expert panel of RICS members and other experts based on their role in transforming communities and the everyday lives of people.

The awards are divided into nine award categories to include the best examples of development in the commercial, education, healthcare, heritage, infrastructure, land & rural, leisure, residential and student accommodation sectors – with an overall winner also due to be announced.

The Hub looks forward to welcoming the judging panel to the village in the coming weeks. Ochiltree Hub Manager Kirsty Fowler commented " It is fantastic to be shortlisted in a category that recognises the commitment made by the community for the community.  Making a positive impact on the local community is what drives the staff and volunteers on a daily basis.
